Microsoft WebMatrix is an all-in-one lightweight Web development tool that allows web developers to create, publish and maintain web sites easily. With Web Matrix developers can install open source web applications, or use web templates as a starting point to develop customized web sites.
While Web Matrix v2 contained enhancements like remote editing and enhanced editing capabilities for HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and PHP, Web Matrix v3 brings support for source control with Git and enhanced icon-sized site previews to ease site management.
